The Philosophical Gardener has a proud tradition of mentoring and training Landscape gardeners, some of which have gone on to run their own successful companies. 

Our team members all have experience and landscaping backgrounds, and we will all be  proficient and familiar with your unique landscape needs. 

Depending on the size of the project. 

Each design is tailored to suit the specific garden.

In general, Landscaping is a challenging work environment,  weather dependent and working often with limited access, and regularly in Urban areas no access to the outdoor space,  so careful logistical planning is essential for a successful project. 

The preparatory stage is the time consuming stage, as ground work can be very laborious and untidy, but correct ground work is fundamental for the success of the project and its legacy. 

Once all the preparatory work has been completed. 

We now start constructing the garden itself, quite often the finished garden will come together swiftly and efficiently  following the correct protocols. 

The final stage. 

Once the majority of the garden is complete, just like the preparatory stage,

the final stage of the project can be time consuming,  as bringing balance to the finished garden in all its nuance, is fundamental to the success of the project.  

We have all necessary licenses and insurance for all of our projects.
